For the longest time, Beenz has been a popular hookah place where all
the rich kids from Jubilee-Banjara hang out. The setting here is pretty
with individual tables pulled into seclusion with a straw roof overhead
and a hut sort of a feel. I have enjoyed my meals here, although the
service does not give you much to talk about.
When you walk in on a typical lazy afternoon, you will find half hung over kids or 20 somethings, sitting around in their shades, in the outdoor seating, and quietly sipping on their diet cokes on ice. This actually is a welcome change because none of them like making too much noise, and you get the quiet afternoon that you bargained for...
I recommend you try their 'Chicken in Red Pepper' and 'Black Pepper Chicken'... They are worth their price. They also make a neat 'Dragon Chicken' and 'Crispy Lamb' as the oriental spices in these are pretty true to the taste. Also, these dishes go well with any hookah that you order. However, I would recommend that you stay away from their prawns as most restaurants in Hyderabad don't understand what to do with prawns.
You may find the service a little slow here, so visit this place if you are sure that you aren't in a hurry to leave. For all you know, you may be writing the next review for this place.
