This has to be one of the best cafe's that I have come across in a long
time. I had been to this place many times with my friends in Hyderabad.
The moment I entered this place I fell in love with the ambiance. The
place looks very small from the outside but opens into a very large
space. Testa Rossa Caffe brings the European cafe experience to Hyderabad.
Specializing in Italian cuisine, they boast an assortment of 20
varieties of coffee, all imported from Italy. If you ever get tired of
coffee, try sprucing up your drink with one of the 12 flavor add-ons
that are available. However, if you are still looking for something a
class apart, then give their Mocktails a try. They are carefully
constructed by the Brewmaster of the house. Friendly, professional staff
create an ambience much like home, and one that several patrons keep
coming back for. They have a beautiful roof top which is awesome when you visit
this place during the late evening hours. The food is really good
although the price is slightly on the higher end. We ordered Caramel
Cold Coffee which was totally yummy and I would say it was way better
than the coffee served in many usual Coffee places. We went for Pasta
with red sauce which was again very good in terms of the taste as well
as the quantity. Another major crowd puller to this place is the Hookah.
They have so many flavors that you will end up getting confused on what
to choose. All the good things said now comes major minus of this
place - Service. If only we had had only one waiter who was taking our
orders things would have been much easier. Testa Rossa, at first sight gives you an impression that a lot of effort
has been taken to make the place visually appealing and is targeted at
the young crowd looking to have a peaceful hookah in an open air set up.
A stylish ambiance with a pool table and a shingled open air patio
sit-out, besides indoor seating, delicious pastas, steaks. Super cool
desserts like Blueberry cheese cake and tres leeches.
Best part - authentic Italian Coffee from the heart of Italy.
The coffee beans are in-house and from Italy.
One of the best coffee shops !!
For sweet endings, besides Choco Truffle Cake and Chocolate Brownies,
the piece de resistance is the Tres Leches, creamy soft and moist, like a
custard cake topped with peach and kiwi slices, priceless!!
Testa Rossa is a place to relax, soak in the palatial ambience and have some ordinary food paired with some good conversation.
This place is unexpectedly big..when you enter you think it's just a
small cafe but if you go upstairs you'll find a sprawling inside seating
and an open air section..All that's really nice..except, i'm not at all
a fan of hookah and the first floor area is full of hookah smoke and
smell.
Not that you shouldn't go there if you're like me, you'll just have to sit downstairs...which is fine!
And if you are a hookah person, this is the place for you, never seen so
much hookah anywhere else. Its the cool new thing for college crowd i
guess!
