Officially India’s Best Hip Hop DJ two years in a row by myfavdj.in (Jury Panel 2009-2010 & People’s Choice 2010-2011), he was shortlisted out of hundreds of DJs across the globe to participate live at the Video DJ Battle hosted by the 2nd Annual Video DJ Conference in Las Vegas (September 2012)
Having received shout-outs from celebrity Hollywood DJs like DJ Vice, DJ MisterE and Mike May,the head of Rane (biggest DJ hardware company) DJ KAN-I is highly respected and applauded by the Western DJ community.
From Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune to New York, Los Angeles, Dubai and Bangkok- DJ KAN-I has performed all across the globe. A true mastermind on the Turntables, he breathes life into every performance by belting out mixes that get the party started and keep it going.
Apart from having opened for International artists like Grammy award-winning Chamillionare (VH1 Hip-hop Hustle) Wyclef Jean, Kardinal Offishall, Apache Indian, Jay Sean, Raghav and many more, DJ KAN-i has evolved a unique style of his own, that blends Hip Hop, R&B Dance, House and Electro House- an Urban Contemporary Style into one wicked package for his audience.

DAKTA DUB
Bala Subramanyam aka Dakta Dub is a dj/radio presenter with loads of experience behind him dedicated to music. His DJ career started in 2004 when he first visited Budapest, Hungary for a professional diploma course, but destiny leaded him to Tilos Radio, the biggest underground radio station of Budapest. At Tilos Radio Dakta had an opportunity to learn DJ-ing and mixing several types of music such as world fusion, dub, reggae, drum n bass, dub- step , chill out, global Indian, jazz and various influences. His weekly radio show “Indian Lights” became the most popular among different programs. During his stay in Budapest he also appeared as a guest DJ on Tilos Radio's other programs. From 2006 started hosting Saturday evening Indian music show on Radio C Fm 88.8, Budapest, a gypsy radio station. Dakta played at several club parties and festivals: No man’s land festival, Hungary, Hanna Hanna festival Slovakia, RWTH University fest, Germany. Tilos Radio World Music Party series with fellow program makers on Radio.
Returned to Hyderabad, India in 2008. Now spreading underground music vibes to Indian massive. Working on making a non-commercial, independent radio station in India.
Dakta Dub is a true outernational DJ. His unique choice of music genres put him right across the border of cross culture musical boundaries. He has a decent collection of Indian music from across the globe, a true Rastafarai believer and big fan of reggae and dub music and the legend Bob Marley. The Budapest underground music culture made a strong impact on him, which gave him way to explore to underground hip-hop, old skool, nu skool jazz, trip-hop, drum n bass, Jungle, Reggae/Dub and many more global influences.
He had been covered both by print and digital media both in Europe and India.
Daktadub has found Monkey Foundation, a not for profit cultural organization in India. Working on first of a kind Internet radio, in Hyderabad.
